Gurlien is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University and completed her massage therapy training at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She has experience working in both clinical and athletic settings, including with varsity and professional athletes, neurological rehabilitation patients, pre/post natal care, and seniors.
She believes massage therapy is an essential component of a healthy lifestyle and offers treatments tailored to each individual’s needs—whether for injury prevention, ongoing maintenance, rehabilitation, or relaxation. Her treatments include a variety of modalities – including Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, PNF stretching, and pin-and-stretch techniques.
Gurlien is committed to creating a safe, supportive treatment environment where she collaborates with patients to identify goals and develop effective, personalized treatment plans. ICBC cases, sports injuries, post-operative recovery, stress-related tension are just a few examples of concerns Gurlien is happy to address.
Outside of the clinic, Gurlien enjoys travelling the world, listening to true crime podcasts, and playing a wide range of board and video games.
